Getting Started

My original post seems to have vanished. I can see it from my page, but it has disappeared from the view of your eyes. Guess that is technology for you; if you don't know what you are doing, you can mess it up. Leap Day: It is a gift given every four years to allow us some of those extra hours that we always wish to have. At this point, I haven't done anything extra. It is just another day. I have things to accomplish...I need to get busy.

  1. I never thought of leap day as getting all of those extra hours I complain about needing every year. I think I have a new perspective about Feb. 29th thanks to your post. Too bad I have to wait for four more years to get another extra day.

On another note, welcome to the SOLSC!

  2. I can't wait to read more of your slices and to smile at your dry humor. Thanks for giving Slice of Life a whirl.

  3. Hey, it happens to the best of us! I almost forgot today was the first day of slice of life. Yes, I have lost several posts while I started last year. You can do it! Hang in there! Happy Slicing!

  4. That's a great way to look at what is usually just thought of as an extra day.

  5. So glad you made it here! I had never thought of Leap Year as a gift of extra hours. I like that...I'm going to look at Leap Year in a different way instead of just another day. :)

  6. This is my first year for SOLC and I just thought I knew what to do. Every day I find something I have missed. I love your thoughts on Leap Day. Maybe that's what we all did this year - use it as "extra" to get our SOLC writing started.
